Some event links work some take me to my homepage

My events calendar is live here: http://libertycrier.com/events/

I’m importing my events using the Facebook Event import plugin that I paid for. About half of the links in my calendar go to the proper event location in the site, the other half go to my home page. I’m not sure what’s going on. Thanks for your help.

Sorry to hear about that. Do you have some examples of which links go to the home page?

Have you tried deactivating all other plugins to rule out a conflict?

Hi Jonah. I haven’t checked for a plugin conflict because half of the links work. I’m not sure how a plugin conflict could allow for this to work sometimes but not others. Maybe I’m wrong?

Also I did give an example. Just click the link I’ve already provided for you and click a few events. It’s 50/50 so you’ll hit a link that doesn’t work in two second.

For example: The event on the 5th works. The event on the 6th does not.

All events have been imported in the exact same way using your facebook events plugin. Yet there are different results for different events.

Hi Trevor,

Ok I see now. It looks like it could be some sort of server or permalink issue because it appears to be affecting only the events with numbers in the permalinks. For example, http://libertycrier.com/event/the-liberty-county-forum-a-century-of-decline-2/ redirects to the home page but http://libertycrier.com/event/ft-hood-liberty-concert-and-oath-keeper-outreach/ works. It could also be something your theme is doing that’s conflicting with our plugin too.

Here are a couple things to try:
1. Try refreshing your permalinks by visiting Settings > Permalinks.
2. Try changing the Events Template in Events > Settings > Template to something other than what you have set now.
3. Try reverting to the Twenty Eleven/Twelve theme to see if the events work there. If they work in the base WordPress theme, then you know it’s an issue with your theme.

Try those things and let me know how it goes.
