    Hi there,
when I set the “sold till” feature – setting the date till when the tickets can be sold – it always jumps back to 1.1.1970.

Not sure if it helps – our last (and solved) issue was related to the fact that we use German as the WP language.

Good evening Luc and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the issues you have bumped into while using our plugins with WPML.
I would love to help you with this topic.

The first thing you should know is that we do not fully support Event Tickets Plus integration with WPML yet: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support/

This feature is scheduled to be release later this year. Initially we planned for spring, but there was some pushback.

In the meantime, you could get it to partially work, but this is unsupported and it sounds like you are already on your way for that.

Ideally on a staging / testing server (or at least a database backup), I would recommend upgrading the all of your plugins to the latest version, including Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus to see if that helps.

Finally, it is possible that this is caused by some customization found in your theme.
Try temporarily reverting back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the problem goes away.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Hi Geoff,
    thanks for your help –
it is true that I have to use WPML and have to make it work – but right now it is not even active.

My last support thread was about an issue which was caused by a wrong string translation ( I use German language). During the long process of finding out this bug we I had to create a new install with not much more than the event ticket plugins and the 2017-theme.
I still have this installation and the same bug with 01011970 exists there too – so pls help me find there the bug since I`m pretty sure that it is again a bug of the event ticket plugin (since there is not much else left to blame for)

    The test installation is http://infired.de

    thanks

    Good afternoon Luc,

I am glad we found the issue but I totally get how important this is.

This is why I have escalated the issue.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch.

Alas, I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now.
They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.

The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.
Thank you for your patience as we see this through.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
