Sold out events still show up in Member Area > Products list

Users with a specific membership receive a discount of 50% to all products; in the member area, there is a list with products they receive a discount too. Even when an event has sold out or has passed, the tickets for this event somehow still show up on this list in the Member Area.

Please advise ?

Do the tickets show they are sold out and just show on the page? Is there any custom code to add these tickets to the page?
