I had set up a snippet for facebook events that gives a link back to the original facebook event so people can register. This is no longer working.
Any ideas?

I would love to help you with this.
We actually turned that snippet into a mini plugin that we have kept as up to date as we can:

If you download that plugin, does it correct the issues you’re experiencing?
Cheers!

Is there any way to do this? Have you deactivated the snippets option?

You should be seeing that link. As you can see in the screenshots for that extension, it contains a link back to the event, and places it right underneath the featured image. Are you not seeing that link with the extensions active?
If so, would you mind grabbing your system information and pasting it here? Make sure to use the ‘Set as private reply’ checkbox to protect your private information from the public. You can find the system info by going to WP Admin > Events > Settings, clicking on the “Help” tab, and scrolling down to the ‘System Information’ box. (Or by going to [yoursite]/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=tribe_events&page=tribe-events-calendar&tab=help)
Have you deactivated the snippets option?
Our snippets are generally getting updated to become extensions. The Extensions are all around better. If you prefer, you can still take the relevant bits of code out of the extension and paste it in your theme, but I would not recommend it. One of the advantages of extensions is that we keep them updates, and soon plan to release an auto updater for them.
Cheers!
