Smaller events within larger event?

I’m an association events coordinator and we have an annual weekend convention that I’ll call the “Main Event”. During that weekend, we have 5 separate design competitions that require a ticket to enter. The “Main Event” requires a ticket for the entire weekend, but also, the individual competitions require different tickets to attend.

1. How to create tickets for the smaller events (competitons) without having to create a separate event for each.

So in theory, my main question is how to create tickets without creating an event.

I’d be happy to help you with this.

Unfortunately, there is no built-in functionality to create sub events inside another “Main Event”.

But, a workaround for this would be to create 6 tickets inside the “Main Event”. One ticket would be for the Main Event, and the other five would be for each design competition, stating in the ticket title and description all the necessary details.
