MemberHi Bruce,
First off, thanks for using the bundle! That’s awesome and I hope you enjoy it — of course, once things get smoothed out here.
Is the issue that the license key is unable to validate?
If so, that will not affect the overall functionality of the plugins. Activating the license will register your site to the plugins and enable you to see when new versions of the plugin are available, but they will still work on the site with or without the license being added.
Is that the case, or are you totally unable to activate the plugins once they’ve been installed?
Thanks!

ParticipantNO they are there but I thought I read where they have to be activated with the key to function. I am a little clueless right now. do you have any video tutorials for the mentally challenged? 🙂

MemberOh ok, cool, so that means the plugins are installed and active, just no licenses at the moment.
We do indeed have a tutorial for inputting the license keys, though I would certainly not pin any of this on being mentally challenged — it can be confusing!
Please let me know if I can help clarify anything further and I’d be happy to. 🙂
Cheers,

ParticipantHey is there a quick and easy way to set the calendar up to look like the demo but just use a certain green instead of the blue. is there a video on doing it.

MemberHey Bruce,
The demo uses a custom theme, but the styles are pretty standard out of the box for what comes in The Events Calendar by default.
That said, we do have tutorials available for customizing and styling the calendar:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase-category/customizing-views/
In particular, you might be interested in this post, which outlines how to use the WordPress Customizer to style calendar pages, including colors.
Cheers!

ParticipantHey Geoff,
If I want to lay the calendar on my home page and put it below some other content how would I do that. When I go to the event page that was created when I installed it, you can’t edit it? Thanks

MemberHi Bruce,
Events Calendar PRO does include several widgets with shortcodes that can be used to embed them on any page or post. If your homepage includes a widget area, then you can head to Appearance > Widgets and place the mini calendar widget right there. Or, if you have the ability to edit the content on your homepage, then you can use the shortcode instead.
It sounds like we’re veering away from the original topic of this thread — do you have any other questions about the validation server error you were receiving when entering the license key, or has that been cleared up?
Thanks so much!
