Site visitors save event to phone or outlook calendar

Is there a way for a user to save an event to an outlook calendar or their phone calendar? All I can find is an import ics feature, but that creates a new calendar.

Outlook’s handling of iCal data varies a little from other apps and the behaviour of creating a new calendar is something that can be a little annoying. Community contributor Andy Fragen did help out here by making this handy plugin available, though:
