Site running very slow with Events Calendar Pro

Hi,

My website is running very slow and I did a plugin test using https://wordpress.org/plugins/p3-profiler/ and here are my results

I am not happy that I spent so much money purchasing this plugin and it is the cause for my site loading so slow. Is there anything that can be done to fix this problem?

Just a follow up on my previous message above.

I have turned off events calendar pro plugin and the site seem to be running faster

I am attaching two screenshots of a test that shows the site while events calendar is on and off

Thanks for the detailed information.

Here are a few thoughts:

• I find it odd that MailPoet shows up in your P3 results when you have a notice above that says MailPoet is not active.
• I saw from your 2nd message that the two screenshots compare 8 active plugins to 13 active plugins. I would have expected to see only a 1-3 plugin difference (since you have TEC, PRO, and Filter Bar), not 5.

In short, yes, PRO does take more site resources and a well-resourced site should be able to handle it just fine.

I’d also recommend your host have the recommended configurations from https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/
