On all TEC Pro pages, our site’s header does not appear, nor does the title of the event itself on individual event pages. Instead of directing users to http://www.irishnetwork-usa.org/events/, we’re using Event Rocket on http://www.irishnetwork-usa.org/calendar/, which is less than ideal.

I tried the recently suggested CSS fix for the latter problem ( .single-tribe_events header.entry-header { display:block !important; } ), but that didn’t change anything.

And lastly, all future events, whether or not they are part of a recurring series are showing a “This event has passed.” alert at the top of the event page, along with the date and time of our first recurring event. Again, they are completely independent events. (See: http://www.irishnetwork-usa.org/event/irish-network-mn-an-evening-featuring-irish-artist/) Very, very frustrating.

    sdshields,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. I’m noticing that your theme uses some type of Ajax loading, which I know can definitely cause issues and conflicts with our plugin, since a lot of the calendar functionality is Ajax dependent.

Can you try going to ‘Events->Settings->Display’ and switching your Events Template to the Default Page template? Since this seems to be an issue with your theme, I’m hopeful that will fix the issues you’re encountering.

If that still doesn’t seem to fix the problem, could you try temporarily reverting to the default 2013 theme to see if this issue persists? I suspect that these issues stem from a conflict with your theme, but just want to narrow it down a bit before troubleshooting further.

Give that a try and let me know what you discover. Thanks! 🙂

Beautiful, thank you! I could’ve sworn I’d tried that, but apparently not. That one setting fixed literally every problem I was having. I needed to make a few tweaks in the Advanced Template Settings, but that wasn’t a big deal. In fact, it actually worked in my favor, making the main H1 heading on my event pages a bit more useful than they would’ve been otherwise. Thank you again so much!

Awesome! Thanks for confirming that this got you sorted. Since it looks like you’re all set, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.

By the way, if you have a minute or two, we would love it if you’d write a few words for us here: http://m.tri.be/jw

    Thanks in advance. 🙂

    Cheers,
    Casey
