Site crashes after upgrade to 4.0.x with WPML Events Calendar PRO Sync

Dear ladies and gents,
we upgrades the eventscalendar pro from 3.12.3 to 4.0.6 and got a fatal error:
[Fri Mar 04 03:58:11.448881 2016] [:error] [pid 12899] [client 66.249.79.157:33573] PHP Fatal error: Class ‘TribeEvents’ not found in /xxxx/wp-content/plugins/WPML-events-calendar-pro-sync.php on line 136

WPML Events Calendar PRO Sync runs with version 0.1a

We did the same upgrade on a site without WPML and it runs well.

please advise asap how to solve this issue.

Is that correct?

If so, this is not a plugin we make and thus we cannot provide support for it—we do not have full compatibility with WPML at this time, and that script is just some code that a forum user wrote themselves and shared publicly. For help troubleshooting that specific script, I would recommend using the author link in the script to find and reach out to the author of that script.
