GuestHi,
I am looking for a way for people to RSVP to an event with the following specifications:
- A user has to be registered to the site and logged in
- A user can only RSVP with 1 ticket per user
- When a user is not logged in, the RSVP button should first show a register message

ParticipantHey @Arn!
Our RSVP features unfortunately do not have the access-control functions you describe, where users have to be logged-in to RSVP.
That would be possible with some custom coding, which I can try to cook up here, but can you confirm if you would even be interested in having to tinker with some custom code?
If not, no worries—sorry to disappoint!

ParticipantHi, Thank you for your reply.
Custom coding is not a problem. My use-case is actually a little broader:
- A user has to be registered to the site and logged in
- A user can only RSVP with 1 ticket per user for 1 event
- Preferably, the number of tickets per person should be an options (for the admin) per event
- When a user is not logged in, the RSVP button should first show a register message
- A ticket can be free-of-charge (RSVP) or cost money
- Tickets are sold with woocommerce
- Preferably, a user shouldn’t be required to fill in billing info such as address when ordering a free ticket
- At the event page, there should be a list of users who ordered (are going to attend) the event
I don’t expect to offer the solution of course, but I would like to know if this is possible within reasonable limits before purchasing the plugin.
Thanks! Arn

ParticipantHi Arn,
Apologies for the delayed response! I was out of office for an extended time dealing with some health issues. My apologies for the delay.
In regards to your questions, you mention that your main question is just if those things you listed are “reasonably possible”.
They are indeed reasonably possible with some code customization—which unfortunately costs extra if you hire a professional to write the custom code for you, but the features you describe are indeed not very large/intensive customizations. In fact, these three features you listed are included in the plugins out-of-the-box if you use the combination of Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus:
• A ticket can be free-of-charge (RSVP) or cost money
• Tickets are sold with woocommerce
• At the event page, there should be a list of users who ordered (are going to attend) the eventLet me know what else I can help with or what other information I can provide here!
