ParticipantI have a need to sell tickets to an event “series” (e.g., a single ticket for an event that occurs on multiple non-consecutive days). This is different from the currently supported “recurring” event as a recurring event’s tickets apply only to a single instance of the event and not the entire event series.
Additionally, it would be preferable to have this step of “series” event displayed only once in the front-end event calendar. Displaying each event in the series separately gives the incorrect impression that one can purchase tickets for each event in the series separately.
A concrete example would be a 3-week event series that is held on consecutive Saturdays from 8am to noon starting on 9/17/2016. The event would be listed on the calendar for 9/17/2016 and the date/time heading for the event page would show the event date/times as:
9/17/2016 @ 8:00am – 12:00pm
9/24/2016 @ 8:00am – 12:00pm
9/31/2016 @ 8:00am – 12:00pmIs that sort of event possible?

Currently, Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus do not support recurring events (same types and quantities of tickets per occurrence within a recurrence series). Nor do they support the example scenario you provided. (I included the statement about recurring events because of our common use of the word “series” for that use case.)
You could request this as a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.
This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.
