Single event that takes place on 2 separate days – not concurrent

Hi,
Really like the plugin, but we have run into a kind of oddball envent type that we cant seem to create properly. We have an event series type that is a 2-day total event, however session 1 takes place on a Monday and Session 2 takes place on a Wednesday, so we cannot select the event run type to be a typical “starts on 6-10-2015 – 6-13-2015” Also, because it is a 2-part event, both days are mandatory vs. a series where the participant could choose which day they wanted to attend, so the option of creating 2 separate event listings is not an option either.

Is there a way to set up the event so we can have both days listed under a single event. The start and end time could be the same for both.

Interesting question–I haven’t come across this sort of scenario before!

It would be awesome if we could accomplish some sort of event/sub-event relationship to handle situations like this. That way, you could build events that are relative to one another and based on a hierarchy or available sessions. Cool idea, but unfortunately not possible right out of the box. We do accept new feature requests all the time though and I’d love to see this suggested, if you have a moment.

For now, I think your best bet is to create separate events for each session on each day. I know that’s ideal, but I think that’s the best that’s going to happen in the current state of things.
