Single Event Page Full Width

I’ve search the forums, and can’t seem to get a clear answer…How do I get a single event page to be full width? From the Events Setting –>Display–>Events Template I have “Default Events Template”. This has a left side bar. When I change that to “Full Width (no sidebar), the elements go all the way to the edge of the post(left and right sides), with no margins, and doesn’t look correct.

Hi stevenolli,

I might be confused here since when I go to your single event page I see a sidebar on the right and not the left. Can you provide a screenshot of what it looks like with the Full Width setting?

Also, you mentioned that you are using the Default Events Template, but I’m wondering which of the default stylesheets you are using. (http://screencloud.net/v/x3Kv for reference) Have you tried changing those and did it make any difference?

Did you find our Themer’s Guide? (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/) It might have some information that could help you out too.

In the mean time I had select “right side” as the default style sheet. But ideally I would really like to have the events pages be full width. I have switch the default template back to “Full Width (no sidebar”

I guess I’m fine selecting “Default Events Template”, since when select “Full Width (no sidebar)” there is no title, so instead of fixing the full width page, it might be easier to just select the Default template and have it use a right side bar instead of a left one.

Hello stevenolli,

That may be controlled by your theme, but I’m not sure since I don’t have access to your site. However when I put in the same settings on my site, the single events page has no sidebar. http://screencloud.net/v/qENk, which I why I’m thinking it might be your theme. Have you tried reverting to the default Twenty Twelve theme to see if that makes a difference? If it is in your theme, you should check your theme developer’s documentation to see how to get rid of it.

Or maybe I misunderstood?
