MemberHello Siim,
I can help point you in the right direction for this customization.
I looked at the image, thanks! And see you are trying to move the Venue up to the Organizer.
Please follow our Themer’s Guide to moving the template to your theme in the right directory.
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/
The two templates to move to your theme and modify are:
views/modules/meta/venue.php
views/modules/meta/organizer.php
You maybe able to simply copy everything from venue.php to the end of organizer.php and then leave venue.php blank.
That should get the content there, and then you may have to change around some css and other templates to get everything exactly how you would like it.
If you get stuck after moving over the files to your theme, please let me know and I can get out on the next step.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Brian!
Got it. Thanks!
Also, I made changes from the plugin main folder and didnt copy the folders to my theme. So, is the event calendar(pro) going to update automaticly or not and I’m good with that and don’t need to create seperate folders and files?

MemberSiim,
Glad to see you get it working and I can answer your question about the changes.
Yes the Events Calendar Pro will still update and if you made the changes in the plugin itself it will overwrite them.
If you follow the Themer’s Guide and move only the modify files to your theme when the plugin updates those changes will not be overwritten.

Does that help?

ParticipantIs there a way to disable automatic updates? We are changing the plugin a lot and I prefer not to transfer files to my theme files as there are a lot of files we are going to change.
Also is there a way to use filter bar “locatoin” filter as it shows drop down menu from the locations I have. I mean that i want my users to get the option to choose locaton besides typing the location name.

MemberHi Siim,
I can answer your questions.
Is there a way to disable automatic updates?
You can remove the license key and it will not ask for updates. This is not recommended, but it will work.
Another option is to rename the plugin with a different plugin name and folder.
Also is there a way to use filter bar “locatoin” filter as it shows drop down menu from the locations I have.
There is not a feature to add all the locations into a dropdown for the location search in the plugin. If you would like to see use add that feature I would suggest requesting it at out UserVoice Page.

Does that answer your questions?
