Simple RSVP option

I just posted a question on linking Buddypress (my members) with TECpro to show which members are coming and which are not. Is there possibly already a simple RSVP plugin available. I organise many paid events, which require people to fill out all details (name, phone numbers etc). However, for my FREE events I really don’t want people to go through this process. Also for myself it’s time consuming to add “free tickets” in the backend for an event. Is there some option available where people can simply click on a FB “going” button, or something where they can just leave their name and email address (something like a simplified checkout form).
This is a critical issue to make my Events Calendar work much better.

Thanks for your post. We don’t have a specific RSVP plugin or feature, although we are considering adding it. We have a UserVoice thread for this feature so you can vote to have us add it in a future build. Adding your vote there will also allow you to stay updated as we work on it.

One option is one of our five ticketing plugins, which allow you to charge for specific events. You can collect the name and information of the person making the purchase. Might that meet your needs? It’s also possible that you could add RSVP functionality with some customizing, but that would be beyond our support capabilities to assist you with. Does that answer your questions?
