Sidebar not showing and moving related events to the bottom of the page

Hi,

I just purchased the events calendar PRO and I’m using it in conjunction with Enfold/Kriesi.

I’m having some trouble customizing the single event views. Could you help me with the following:

1. How do I move the related events below the details / venue?

2. The sidebar is not showing. How can I display the sidebar?

Hi,

Thanks for using our plugins and sorry for the issues you are having.

Enfold theme adds its own coding that modifies the Event Calendar.

So by default related events are support to be under the Venue Details.

You can turn off the Enfold coding by following what people did in this link:

Enfold 3.0 and Tribe Events Calendar 3.8

As for the sidebar. Please look at this page and follow the steps at the beginning about changing the Events Template:

Usually changing that to Default Page Template will add a sidebar if you theme is setup with one.

Let me know if that helps get it closer to what you are looking for.

Hi Brian,

I tried commenting out the line as per Kriesi’s instructions but that did not work.

I also reviewed the Events > Settings > Display tabs and I do not have the options for Tribe Events, Full Styles, or Skeleton Styles, so I cannot override the default template. Not sure why these options aren’t showing.

What I need help to accomplish:

1) I’d like to group the details & organizer into one box and separate the venue into another

(right now all 3 are in the same box)

2) Move the related Events AFTER the details / venue / organizer boxes

3) Activate the sidebar on pages, as it is currently not showing.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I can try to help get you started.

When you visit this page there is no “Events Template” Setting?

Events > Settings > Display Tab

If not that could be from Enfold theme again.

As for moving the Related Events that is being caused by your theme, so not sure how to counter that as it should be below the Venue Details.

If that solution from Enfold did not work, I would contact them and see if they have something new to turn off their coding as that would get you much closer to what you are looking for.
