Sidebar help

I purchased the events calendar pro and I have a few questions, first I’d like to know if it’s possible to put up a sidebar in the calendar. Right now I just see the full calendar but I have no way to put in a sidebar.. Also all the navigation from my site goes away so people can’t navigate to other parts of the site, is there a way to fix this? I can only use the back button to get back to the main site.

Definitely, you can either customize the default events template and add a sidebar directly (please see our Themer’s Guide – link over on the right – if this approach interests you) or you might try changing the events template setting via the Events → Settings → Display admin screen in case you can get the sidebar to display that way.

I’m not really sure what you mean here, can you give a step-by-step example?

Note that ideally we like to stick to one issue per thread, so in the event you need further help with both questions let’s stick to one problem in this thread and please go ahead and create a second thread for the other issue (if needs be).

The top menu – site navigation disappears when I go into the calendar, is there a way to keep the site navigation visible? Home – Contact Us – About etc

Does this happen only if you are using the Default Events Template / have you tried adjusting the template setting as indicated in my last post and does that impact on this at all?
