"Side by Side" events in week view – limiting days in week view

I’m hosting an art retreat in April. It runs Thursday through Sunday.

Over those 4 days, there are 50 art workshops going on simultaneously.

My goal is to find an easy way to show potential attendees what was going on those 4 days. Let them see what events are happening at the same time, so they can pick one in each “timeslot.”

Using Events Calendar Pro (plus ticketing), I hoped this would work:

Use a week view (because it gives an hourly grid)
Start the week on Thursday, 4/27/17
End the week on Sunday, 4/30/17
The workshops would line up “side by side” like they do in Outlook week view (see attached screen shot)

I haven’t been able to make any of that magic happen.

The week runs Sunday through Sat (so 4 days are empty and 1 day of our event doesn’t show up)
The events stack up on top of each other, rather than side-by-side

It’s a great alternative for folks – ’cause they can see the photos, descriptions, etc. But I really hoped for a “grid view” as well, so they had multiple ways to find events.

Tickets go on sale 1/23.

Any ideas what I could do? Are there code snippets or add-ons that would do this?

Thanks for reaching out!

There unfortunately is not a way to achieve the specific sort of layout you describe without extensive custom design modifications. We’re unfortunately not able to help with such modifications, as elaborated upon here.

So to implement the features you describe, you would have to write that custom code or hire a professional developer to do it for you.
