showing specific categories with [tribe_events] shortcode

Hello. I was wondering if there was a way, or a plan to make one, to use the [tribe_events] shortcode to show only certain categories, so it could be used to show different events on different pages. In the documentation, I’m only seeing ways to modify the shortcode by view, not category, though some of your other shortcodes seem to be able to display by category.

Hi Dave,

We absolutely  are working on category filters for the shortcode as we speak. In fact, that should be shipping in our very next maintenance release for Events Calendar PRO (version 4.3.3) this or next week, if all goes according to plan. 🙂
