Showing Events on Author page

Hi,
In Woordpress, the Author page shows all the posts created by an author.
I would like to show the EVENTS created by an author with all his posts.
Is there a simple way to do that ?
I tried to add the “events” in the post hook (loop-author.php or in functions.php) …. but I should be wrong because it doesn’tworks
