Show only upcoming events in Event Section of WP control panel

Currently I have several “recurring events” that displays on my event page. (They were setup to repeat for 24 months etc.)

When I go to view my events in your plug into make changes – the view defaults to show events in 2019 ( particularly the last event in the repeated event series) I would I would like it to default to show the “most recent” upcoming events instead.

When I try to click on the “Start Date Column” to filter by that it brings me to the first set entered events in the calendar – which were a month a go… How can we set the default view to show the most recent upcoming events going forward from the current date?

Thanks for using our plugins, I’m happy to help and provide some clarification!

Unfortunately, at this time, it’s not a built in option to change the sorting in that way, but this change could be made with some customization. I recommend checking out the following resources if you’d like to try making these changes yourself or to find someone to help out with this:
