Show month view as default on category pages

I’ve set the default view to “Month” in the settings and this works fine on the main calendar page (http://www.clampdesign.com/dev/jsdd/calendar-of-events/). However I have two category pages that I would also like to show the month view by default but they show up with the list view. (http://www.clampdesign.com/dev/jsdd/calendar-of-events/category/jsdd/ or http://www.clampdesign.com/dev/jsdd/calendar-of-events/category/wae-center/). Is there somewhere I can change this?

One way around this, if you’re linking to the category’s calendar is to add “/month” onto the end of the link url. It automatically opens the calendar in the month view instead of the default list view.

Indeed you could modify URLs this way (easily so for any “static” links you might add), but it could become a bit more complicated depending on your particular scenario and requirements if you want to alter the dynamically generated category links.

Ok, thanks everyone for the responses. It just seemed a bit counterintuitve to me that if there is a setting for what you want as the default, that it wouldn’t be applied everywhere. For now, in this particular case, I can use the URL workaround.
