Show linked text instead of actual url in custom field for urls?

Hello,

I recently purchased The Events Calendar Pro and it’s fantastic – thank you! I’m using the custom field for urls, as many of my events require a link to specific documents. Unfortunately my links are long and ugly, and I’d much prefer to show linked text instead. Is there any way to do this? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for purchasing Pro and glad you like it.

If you use a text field you can add link markup like this:

Link Text

Saving that in the additional field showed as a link for me on the front end.
