I would like to show holidays in the top right corner of the date boxes in the month view like in a regular calendar. Screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/xEgDI6N9

Unfortunately, there isn’t any holiday boilerplate, largely because we’ve designed TEC with an international audience in mind, and holidays are not universal.
It would certainly be possible to set up a CSV file with holidays as events and then export/import using our CSV importer. That would probably make things a bit easier for you.
