GuestHello all,
I was wondering, could you list same events (different dates tho´) on a events page?
I mean, if I have Event A, Event B and Event C – I wanna be able to show a button, on Event A, that links to Event B and Event C.
Is this possible in any ways?Best regards

GuestIn addition to the question above:
I want to show different start-dates on a single event.
So if an event starts 12th, 17th, 23rd and 24th – I wanna be able to show the different startdates on a single event.
And they all link to the different events (as mentioned above).January 5, 2017 at 7:29 am #1213744Geoff
MemberHi Aris,
Thanks for getting in touch!
Yes, Events Calendar PRO does include a feature that allows you to show related events on an event post and those related events are based on the category of the current event. So, while you cannot set which specific events to display, you can be assured that there will be events from the same category being displayed.
This is the setting:

This is what it displays:

I want to show different start-dates on a single event.

The recurring event times will not be displayed on the page, but there will be a “Show All” link on the post that allows people to click and see all the events in the recurring series on one page.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

GuestHi Geoff,
Thanks for your quick reply.
Can I, in any way, show the recurring events (the list of the specific dates) in my sidebar?
I mean, is there a codesnippet?Instead of just a link “See all” – and then a page with all the dates.
I hope this makes sense 😀Best regards

MemberHi Aris and thanks for following up!
That ‘s a good question. I think it would be possible to show the recurring events in a sidebar, though it would take some custom development on your part — in other words, the calendar’s layout is different right out of the box but it can be modified by editing the plugin templates.
Did you have any other questions about the plugin? Let me know and I’d be happy to help!

GuestHello Geoff,
Thanks for the answers 🙂
I will see what I can do by myself.
I know my way around coding, and WordPress especially, so it shouldn’t be a problem.
But if you guys had a snippet – it would be easier 😀Thanks a lot – and have a nice day!
Best regards

MemberThanks Aris! Hope you had a great weekend and I appreciate you following up here.
I wish we had a snippet for this as well. At the same time, it would be pretty tough to snippet this exact thing because it requires hard coding in the templates to create the sidebar and that something you’d probably want to do in a way that blends in well with your theme. 🙂
I’ll go ahead and close this thread but let us know if any other pre-sales questions come up ahead of purchase and we’d be happy to help.
Cheers!
