Show event once only? And remove end time?

Bit of a special one this I guess…

1. Does the Pro feature have a way of removing certain events from appearing on the second date?

Example: http://www.ilovetrancemusic.com/events/2016-02/

The event starts late in the evening and finishes at 5am. I’d like to avoid confusion with events like these and have it only appear on the start date, but retain the information for the end time and for it to not appear on Saturday 20th February as the case is here.

2. Sometimes a promoter will not provide an exact end time… Sometimes because if it is quiet they’ll close early, other times they’ll let the last DJ play on an extra 30mins, 1 hour, etc. In this case they’ll state the event end as ‘Late’ rather than a specific time. Can I have an option of not needing to fill in the end time somehow?

I don’t really want to fudge it and state all-day and leave the description to state the times. Can the Pro calendar help me here?

Not in this exact case because it’s a multi-day event that starts on 2/19 but continues into 2/20. You could set the cut-off date for events in the Events > Settings screen to a later time than midnight so the events stay on one day instead of two.

Can I have an option of not needing to fill in the end time somehow?

I wish I could say there is an option for doing that, but I’m afraid an end time is needed for an event. You might be able to use CSS to hide the end time for specific events, as needed, but you will need to at least specify an end time when publishing an event.

Can the Pro calendar help me here?

I don’t think Events Calendar PRO will help you specifically with these needs. The free version of the calendar alone provides the ability to set cut-off times and modify the displays with CSS.
