Simple question (and probably a dumb one), but on a template override, the Themers guide says to create the folders tribe-events etc. in the Theme folder. My theme uses a child theme and my dumb question is whether I should be creating those tribe-events override folders in the child theme folder of the main theme folder?

    thanks again.

Hey Kevin. No worries, not a dumb question.

If your child theme is the active theme, you should put it in your child theme’s folder.

This is actually the best setup because if you didn’t have a child theme, any update to your parent theme would wipe out your ‘tribe-events’ theme folder.

Let me know if you need any further direction regarding our Themer’s Guide.
