    Perhaps a dumb question – but I’m revising the required fields again and i’m following this help page:

    Required Fields for Events Submission Form

    It simply states “We’ll do that by adding the following code into our theme’s functions.php file”.

    Should the changes I make here be a template override so i don’t lose them when the plugin is updated? The only place that is referenced here is regarding the Square Bracketed Fields Exception.

    Nevermind. just realized that i have to modify the functions.php in the Child Theme – so it shouldn’t be affected with any update anyway. my bad.
