Hello.
I’m in the process of redesigning my site and I’m having trouble with the Event Calendar widgets and shortcodes.I’ve got the pro version, with community events and filter bar licenses.
I’ve tried the shortcodes and widgets on the homepage (demo URL http://dzu8z.hosts.cx/ ) and this test page (http://dzu8z.hosts.cx/12453-2/)
The only widget or shortcode that actually works is the Calendar.
The Event Calendar list plugin on the homepage shows “no upcoming events” but you can see I’ve got over 1000 events registered http://dzu8z.hosts.cx/events/
Thanks in advance for your help!

[event_rocket_list]
[tribe_events_list]And I’ve tried the Events Calendar List widget with both filters enabled and disabled.
July 14, 2015 at 8:26 am #986282BrianKeymasterHi,
Thanks for using our plugins I can help out here.
I am not able to support Event Rocket here, but with the latest update the widget shortcodes such as [event_rocket_list] were removed.
And now we have the [tribe_events_list] to replace it.
Do you have any custom templates in your theme for the list widget?
With 3.10 we had to make some changes and if you do not update those custom templates the Events will not show.
In the list-widget.php template you can add these to the top and that might fix the issue instead having to redo custom work:
$events_label_plural = tribe_get_event_label_plural();
$posts = tribe_get_list_widget_events();
Add that before the check for if($posts).
Let me know how that works out.
Cheers

Is there a way to add the featured image for each event so it shows up in the list?
Also, is there a way to get the list into a 3 column carousel format?
July 21, 2015 at 1:47 pm #988608BrianKeymasterHi,
Glad it is working again.
It is possible to add a feature image to the widget shortcode.
You will want to modify the Pro List Widget files as outline by our themer’s guide:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
There is a 3rd party tutorial that has a look you might be interested in and we have a link to it here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/horizontal-list-widget/
As for a 3 column carousel format, again that could be possible with a customization to the template, but we do not have anything to provide on that.
Since the original issue is resolved I am going to close this ticket, but if you need anything else related to this topic or another please post a new topic on the forum and we can help you out.
Thanks
