Shortcodes not working in pages/posts

The pro shortcodes work fine in the widgets areas but do not work in the pages or posts. I have tried them all and they all have strange formatting issues. I attached two screen shots.

I changed my theme to twentyseventeen and disabled visual composer and the problem still exists. I also tried it in multiple browsers.

I am running version 4.4.6 of Pro.

I would love to help you with this topic.

Thanks to your explanations, I was able to locate the cause of the issue.

What is going on is that your shortcode is wrapped in

 and 

tags (see screenshot).

Removing these tags should fix things (using the “Text” tab).
