Shortcodes no longer working in single events pages as of 4.0.1

I use images in my events, and some are creative commons images and need attribution. I have an image credit shortcode that I use throughout the site.

This is working in EC 4.0, example – http://www.qpractice.com/event/restroom/

is a shortcode I drop in on specific event categories. I use Post Snippets WordPress plugin and my others are working throughout the site.

But these are no longer working on single events using the MORE <!–more–> in 4.0.1

Can you clarify exactly what you mean when you write:

The <!–more–> text has no role on single pages, posts, events, etc., since it is only used for “feed” views.

Can you explain exactly what happens with this text on a single event?

Does all event content after this <!–more–> text not show up? Does all content except for shortcodes show up?

Just trying to figure out the exact problem – I will try to recreate it and we can continue investigating from there.

Hi George, we fixed this. It was a space within the shortcode, and you can’t do that in 4.4
