ParticipantI have the Shortcode add-on for The Event Calendar. We have several categories. I have one category that I just want to list but don’t want to go to the single view because I’m listing an academic calendar. I don’t want to change the list view theme because I use the list view for other categories. Is there a way to use the shortcode option and not include a link to the single detail page?

KeymasterThanks so much for reaching out!
Would you mind providing me with the exact shortcode that you are using, so that I can replicate what you are seeing?
In general, this will most likely require a customization on your part.
Please note that support for customizations is limited as stated in our support policy.
I’d recommend starting off by taking a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which templates can be edited and copied in order to achieve the results that you are looking for.
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantHi,
[ecs-list-events cat=’academic-calendars’ design=”compact”
titlesize=”12px” limit=”5″ ]But this has a link to the single view page. I don’t want it to this to
have any links but there is not any more information.August 3, 2018 at 3:59 am #1589422Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterThanks for providing me with this information.
That is actually not related to our plugin, as the shortcode comes from The Events Calendar Shortcode PRO version 1.11.1 by Event Calendar Newsletter(https://eventcalendarnewsletter.com/), which is not our plugin.
I’d recommend reaching out to the support team over at that plugin to see if they can assist you there.
Let me know if you have any other questions for us!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
