Shortcode or PHP for showing events by state?

We would like to use Events Calendar Pro but need a way to display events dynamically by the venue’s state. Is that possible with this plugin? This could be a shortcode, custom PHP, etc, we aren’t afraid of custom options.

Thanks for your interest in our plugin!

Unfortunately, there’s no solution out of the box to display events according to the venue’s state with a shortcode. You may create a category view for each location or a venue for each location and use a venue shortcode, but obviously that wouldn’t be ideal in terms of scalability.

You may also utilize our Filter Bar plugin to filter through locations on your main events page.

The other way would be to customize our plugin. You’ll find plenty of resources in our Knowledgebase: https://theeventscalendar.com/customizations/
