ParticipantHi, I’m trying to put a calendar in a page using the tribe-events shortcode. I specifcally would like for it to start in the month view. However if I don’t turn off the tribe-bar, the user can click on other views. When doing so the link is wrong.
The original link is https://thefoodery.la/index.php/calendar-test.
The new click takes you to:
https://thefoodery.la/calendar-test?tribe_event_display=list.
This page does not exist as it is missing “index.php”.
This is the shortcode I’m using:
[tribe_events category=”DISCOUNTED” view=”month”]
And I’m attaching screen shots.May 16, 2018 at 2:37 am #1531447Andras
KeymasterHi Daniel,
Thanks for reaching out!
Is there a specific reason you are using ‘index.php’ in your permalink structure?
Btw, if you would like to still use the bar but don’t want users to be able to look at other views, then you can switch off the views under Events > Settings > Display tab (screenshot)
Does this help?
Cheers,

ParticipantHi, András.
Thanks for replying.
I wasn’t aware you can change the permalink structure.
When I create a new page or post, and I publish it, WordPress automatically assigns the permalink, which includes the php.
How do you change the permalink so it does not include a php link?
Thank you

ParticipantHi, Andras.
I found the solution. I wasn’t aware that you could change Permalinks in the settings.
Thanks so much for your help.
