Shortcode for Events Calendar

What’s the shortcode for the Events Calendar Pro? I can only find the shortcode for the mini calendar (which isn’t very attractive). I want to use the full calendar on an events page, but the client wants other things on the page too. I realise I can put html above and below – but the client won’t be able to edit that using page builder. Many thanks!

Hey Jonathan!

Good question. The shortcodes in PRO are currently limited to the widgets and can be found here:

It sounds like you are looking for a way to embed the full calendar rather than a widget though. While that’s unavailable at the moment, it is something we are actively working on and hope to have soon. You can add your vote to the feature request which will subscribe you to receive a notification when that feature has been released.

Oh this is disappointing. I specifically bought the PRO version to be able to place the normal calendar and list inside a page with other stuff… what does “soon” mean? A month, 6 months? Thank you for your reply!

I totally hear you there, Jean-Francois — shortcodes have been a long-time-coming and is something that we’re putting careful attention to because it’s trickier than you might expect. 🙂

That said, if all goes according to plan, we will be releasing full view shortcodes in version 4.2. Naturally, I cannot guarantee that, but if things keep moving forward, then we’re looking at the next 6-8 weeks.
