    Hi,

I’m not sure if I’ve titled this correctly but essentially, I want to create a slide using my theme (Divi by Elegant Themes). On this theme I want to showcase my next event.

I suppose what I’m asking is, what code do I need to put into the slide in order to display the title, truncated description, price, date and how many tickets are remaining? I also need a link to the next event.

    Is this possible at all?

    Thanks

    Harrison

    Hey Harrison,

    Thanks for reaching out!

We unfortunately aren’t able to help much here, since the shortcode you’re using is not a shortcode we make. I do not know what elements you’d need, and would recommend reaching out to the Divi support folks for assistance here instead.

If there’s anything I can help with, let me know. Check out this page to see what sorts of things we’re able to help with → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/

    Thank you!

    Hi George,

    Thanks for your reply.

Is it possible to show the bits (or even some of the bits) I need in a page or post?

Is there a way to look up the fields needed in the database to display them?

    Cheers

    Harrison

    Hey Harrison,

I unfortunately cannot help with that information because we do not make that software. 🙁 If you are interested in exploring the database on your site, you can definitely do this—though this is not something our plugins facilitate. You’d have to use MySQL tools to explore the database—Google around and such for queries like “how to explore a mysql database” and you should find useful information.

I will close this thread given the nature of these questions, because they’re outside the scope of what our support includes, but I wish you the best of luck with your tinkering and customizing.

    Cheers,
    George
