Shortcode Categories Not working

    Dear Support,

    For some reason the category part in the shortcode on my site isn’t working correctly.

    I am using the shortcode [tribe_events view=”list” category=”life-entrepreneurship-bootcamp] on the Disciplined Entrepreneurship Live Events page – https://dev.lifestartups.com/disciplined-entrepreneurship-events/. Please note the attached image for the category I created for the Boot Camp events.

    But as you can see from the additional images I attached that the page contains a event that has been linked to a different category.

    How do I resolve this issue? Have I entered the shortcode in incorrectly?

    Well I already figured out one major typo I made, forgot to add in the ” at the end of the category slug. So that fixed one issue (now the shortcode category is working) but create a new question.

    Is there a way to restrict the search toolbar to automatically only search for events within a specific category? Current if you use the search toolbar it shows all the events within the timeframe or location you selected.

    Is this possible? I’m trying to create custom pages for each course live event that ONLY showcases all the live events for that specific course.

    Thanks so much for reaching out!

    I’m glad to hear that you were able to resolve your first issue.  To address your second issue, that functionality exists within our Filter Bar plugin.  With Filter Bar, you can select a category and see all events from within that category, as well as to add and create other filters.
