    Hello,

    We are a radio station and use the calendar to schedule as many as 10-40 events everyday, many on recurring day to day, hour to hour repeats. We currently are using another popular calendar plugin (latest version). We are on a shared host, that we are paying a premium for additional resources.

    Even so, we are constantly at the limits of our host, which is being caused by the other calendar plugin we are using. I’ve searched and found that others have had similar difficulty with the other calendar plugin, but have not found any complaints about Tribe Event Calendar.

    Is the Tribe Event Calendar not a resource hog? (Like the other one is.)

    Hi,

    Thanks for the interest in our plugins. I used to work for a radio station and mange 15 of their websites. I could never get them to use the calendar though!

    Anyway I think you may run into a similar situation with our plugin. That is a large amount of events for shared hosting.

    Usually the page that causes the most issues is the month view.

    So, we are adding better month view caching in our 3.10 release, but I do not have a timeline for its release.

    That may help it work better for you, but I could not say for sure.
