ParticipantHello!
I purchased the Events Calendar Pro: thank you for the awesome plugin!I have 3 issues:
– How can I invert the order of day and month in list view and how to put 24 hours time? I mean, the order is usually month – day @ XXpm – XXpm. I need it to be day – month @ XX – XX (without pm or am). (see screenshot 1)
– I also downloaded The Events Calendar Shortcode plugin, and used it to insert the list of events into one of my pages. It worked perfectly, but I cannot style it the titles nor the subtitles :-(. (see (screenshot 2 and screenshot 3)
– The same styling issue happens with the single event: I cannot style it in my stylesheet. My styles just don’t work, not even by adding !important. (see screenshot 4 and screenshot 5)
Please do notice that at the moment my website is redirected to a landing page, but you can access it by going on another page, like http://yogaecannella.it/quando
Thank you very much for your help,
Have a nice day,
Francesca

MemberHello Francesca
To modify how dates and times display on your site, there are 2 places to check.
1. Settings » General. You can see at https://codex.wordpress.org/Formatting_Date_and_Time the way that WordPress handles day of the week, month, year, etc. This is also where to set a default to 24hr time.
2. Events » Settings » Display » Date Format Settings. Again, see the earlier WordPress link for the formatting.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar-shortcode/ is not a plugin our company maintains, as it is made by a 3rd party developer. You can reach out for support from them at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/the-events-calendar-shortcode.
For additional help with styling, see some of these tips:
- Start by modifying what you can at Appearance » Customize » The Events Calendar.
- Typically, don’t change the theme or plugin’s css files, they will be overwritten on updates. To avoid this, follow the steps outlined in Themer’s Guide
- Use overriding CSS files, or add CSS to your site using Appearance » Customize » Additional CSS.
- Use !important before a semicolon to override every css rule. It’s a brute force method, but works for quick fixes.
- Please check out this Customizing WordPress #2 – Using Chrome Developers Tools YouTube video in addition to our Using Chrome Developer Tools tutorial on how to easily make changes using CSS.
Is there anything else I can help you with? Let me know how this goes.
Thanks

ParticipantHello,
Thank you for your help.
Unfortunately, even if I did what you suggested, I still have the same issue with the date (even if the hours issue was solved).
Please see screenshot 1, screenshot 2 and screenshot 3.Thank you
