Setting up a conference

Hi guys,

I’m looking to set up a conference site using events calendar pro, wootickets and woocommerce. The ticketing backend seems fairly simple, but my main query is this – does this combination support sessions? The conference we’ll be working on takes place over two days, and there are 3 ticket types – 1 day, 2 day and 2 day with VIP.

I guess what I need to know is – can I separate the ticketing logic and the event logic, yet at the same time still manage attendees in advance and “on the day” using the wootickets backend?

Hello Dan,

Short answer is no. At the current time, the plugin is designed to attach a ticket to an event and pull from a single pool (e.g., 10 adult tickets, 10 child tickets). It’s not able to say there are 20 total tickets and sell whatever combination until 20 tickets are gone. However, this is a feature that has been requested and if you’d like to add your voice to our Feature Ideas page (https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas) that would help us in prioritizing it.
