    Hello,
I know this is maybe not be easy to do with the plugin, but i really need a solution.
We would like to set some events in the calendar, but have the date display as TBA or TBC instead of the actual date. Obviously the plugin requires a date (and not text) in the start and end section otherwise it will not function.

We have a couple of bespoke courses that basically need to display all year round, but the users will book their date and event on a custom basis. However we do not want our upcoming events widget to display that the event is on a particular date, as this is misleading to the user.

I know this may also be theme related, and have submitted a ticket to the theme designers but have not received a response, and really need an urgent solution.

Is there a way we can do this with the plugin? Can we somehow use the custom fields to assist?

    Thanks

    Marc

    Hi,

Thanks for purchasing our the Events Calendar Pro. I can help answer your questions here.

The Events Calendar is built around dates so there is no feature to have an event without a date. It would take quite a lot of customization as the start date custom field is used in almost every event query.

That is an interesting idea to create a placeholder event, but I think you maybe to do that with a page for each course and then put links in the sidebar or other content areas to those pages.

You could also put links above or below the Calendar from the Events Calendar Settings for these courses as well.

I think that would be the quickest and easiest way to achieve what you are looking for as trying to modify the Events Calendar to accept Events without dates could become a huge project on its own.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks
