ParticipantI saw that you added the ability to set an event as featured. First, I noticed that in the Events List, when an Event is Featured, its image is HUGE. This is unwanted. How can I turn it off? I don’t want a HUGE image in Events List, but I do want the event Featured on the Monthly Calendar View, where the event is pinned to the top of its date.
Also, how can I use this Featured property in a shortcode when I am displaying event listings? Is there a shortcode for, say, only Featured Events, to display on the home page?

ModeratorWelcome back 🙂
Can you send a link to a page which displays your featured events? The best way to adjust the featured events image size is most likely using CSS. Check out these relative articles and please let me know if they help: Featured Events and Featured Images.
You can use shortcodes to display featured events:
- PRO Widget Shortcodes
- Embedding Calendar Views with the [tribe_events] Shortcode
- Inserting Calendar Content into Posts or Pages
- Embedding Single Events with the [tribe_event_inline] Shortcode
Thanks and let me know how everything goes. Cheers!

ParticipantThe issue is that I don’t WANT to alter the featured events image size. I just want to NOT alter it. I want to suppress whatever code IS altering it.
But, I would still like to be able to set an event as ‘featured’, because it highlights the event in the calendar.
I can’t send you a link to show a huge featured image in the events list because I am currently unable to use that feature (because of the huge featured image : )January 27, 2017 at 6:11 pm #1225520Hunter
ModeratorThank you for providing further clarification. Unfortunately, you’ll need to essentially override the Featured Events styles to your liking using the tips I provided above. If you’d prefer we include some kind of WordPress admin options to enable greater control over Featured Events, we welcome feature requests with open arms. Please visit our UserVoice Feature Ideas for more info.
Sorry I don’t have a better answer for you and best of luck with the customizations. Cheers!
