MemberHi Rene
We’ve gotten quite a few suggestions for this idea at https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/18784744-for-event-tickets-make-rsvp-default-to-1-instead.
You can see we have a solution coming up, but it will work a bit differently than you are envisioning so that we don’t break existing sites.
Until then, you can see the snippet that you could add in that UserVoice response.
Thanks

Participanthow long i will need to wait?.
i understood the point. but this is a very hard issue. my client is considering a refund because that is terrible for user experience and is more complex than the gravity form system they had before.
this mainly because customer get confused they dont see where to fill their data.
is there any chance to include table headers above quantity, ticket name, or description?. so i can make it more visible or clear for the customer. the quantity field is not easy. should be a dropdown selector not just typing field in mobile you could type a wrong number by mistake.
thanks

MemberHi Rene
Unfortunately, I don’t have an exact time on the solution.
To add the headers, you’d need to be familiar with the Themer’s Guide to handle a template override.
I do think using this snippet will solve most of your problems easily by forcing a user to choose before they can submit:

Let me know if this works for you
Thanks

Participanthi thank you
i tried this snippet and get this error
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘, expecting end of file in /home/campus4s/staging/1/wp-content/themes/Divi_Child_Theme/functions.php on line 80
now site is broken, i tried to copy the previous theme functions file and didnt restored. fortunately this happened on the staging site. :D, i cant flush cache.
i’m not a techy guy, so my knowledge of php is basic.

Participantaditionally the users are so confused that they think that 0 is the ammount of stock left to so they dont sign up.
this is blasting my conversions and this is a mayor flaw of design on this plugin.
I need to add the table headers to give user more information. and add the requirement of the snippet but will broke the php.
please help me

MemberHello Rene
Where did you add the snippet mentioned? I’d suggest adding it t to either your child themeβs functions.php file or use the My Custom Functions plugin.
It seems like you have a duplicate
<?php
command in the file somewhere.
Thanks
