Set the events calendar as homepage

Hello,
I use pinboard theme and i want to put the calendar event as my homepage. I can put as homepage, an already created page but i can’t do that for an URL. How can i set the calendar as homepage ?

Hi – great question!

There’s actually no built-in mechanism for doing this. However, this unofficial plugin (not supported by us) provides the capability to set your Main Events Page as the front page of the blog so that might be worth a try.

Beyond that the only other paths are doing this via your own customization – or by embedding the calendar widget in the front page and customizing the templates used to generate it appropriately.
