Hi,
I have a few events that reoccur on an irregular schedule so using the “Every Day”, “Every Week”, “Every Month” and “Every Year” options doesn’t work.
I experimented with using the custom option too to get an event recurring irregularly and that didn’t seem to work either.
Is there a way that I can put specific dates that an event will recur using the recurrence feature in The Events Calendar PRO plugin?
Thank you

September 2, 2015 at 3:04 pm #1001486BrianKeymasterHi,
Thanks for using our plugins.
We do not have a feature in 3.11 to do as you ask.
However, in 3.12 we have a complete custom recurrence.
You can read more about it here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/
You can get a Release Candidate of 3.12 in your account download section right now on our site.
https://theeventscalendar.com/version-3-12-release-candidate-code-is-now-available/
Or it will be available in a week or two.
Cheers

I installed the beta version of Events Calendar PRO v 3.12 and I don’t see the recurrence feature anywhere.
I’m getting a message telling me that I need the latest version of Events Calendar installed to enable Events Calendar PRO but I already have the most recent version.
Do you know of any reasons why I can’t access Events Calendar PRO?
Thank you

What is the version number for each event plugin?

I was able to get both the Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO updated to v 3.12 but am still not seeing the functionality I’m looking for with the recurrence feature.
Is there anyway to specify additional dates that the event is recurring on without setting a weekly, monthly or yearly timeframe?
An example would be an event that is happening tonight on September 9th and then again on September 18th.
Thank you

Looking at the new recurrence system is still does not handle single dates as you would like.
I got it to work using these settings:
But that is not a perfect solution.
I am writing a ticket for us to see about adding in a single date option to make this easier to do.
Thanks
