GuestI am getting intermittent “Server Error 500” when the Events Calendar & Tickets plugins activated. Sometimes it goes away after page refresh but many times it does not. I’ve tried to test for conflicts but was not able to narrow the cause to any theme or other plugin – the only way I could get rid of the issue is to disable the event calendar & tickets plugins.
I’m seriously considering to buy the paid versions of both plugins but after reading the forums, I’m pretty concerned I may not be able to come up with a proper solution.
Any thoughts?..

ParticipantHey Yalcin,
Sorry to hear about these problems! One thing you wrote stands out to me quite significantly:
Sometimes it goes away after page refresh but many times it does not.
If what I quoted above is indeed the situation with your site, then this sounds like it could be an issue arising from your webserver. I would recommend contacting your web host and seeing if they can spot why the server is giving a 500 error intermittently with The Events Calendar plugins activated.
They may be able to provide some insight as to why that’s happening.
I hope this helps!

GuestGeorge – that was the first thing I did: The response was: “if it is triggered by the activation of one plugin, then the cause of error is the plugin itself.”
This is turning out to be some kind of a vicious circle – everyone tries to push the blame to another party. Please advise if you’d advise anything else or I’m giving up hope and will not try any further…

GuestThe problem is: The plugin required PHP max limits to be extended from teh standard amounts. The error logs shows this and can be fixed via modifying wordpress files

ParticipantHey Yalcin,
Have you been able to modify the necessary WordPress files to allow for the necessary increase in PHP max limits?
