ParticipantHello and thank you in advance for any help you can provide! I am looking to adjust the appearance of my Single Events View pages by separating the contents into 2 columns, but due to my limited knowledge in coding, haven’t quite figured out how to go about customizing the template files.
Looking at this single event on my website, for example: http://montrealtheatrehub.com/event/would/2017-12-12/, I would like for the featured image and body of the text to be on a right hand column, with all of the Event details and Organizer/Venue info stacked on top of each other on a slightly narrower left side column. (Ideally the column setup would be responsive though, so that smaller/mobile devices would only see a single column.)
I’ve looked through the Themer’s Guide for some guidance, but again, due to my limited coding skills, am not entirely sure which files and what on them I should be editing.
Thank you again for your support!

MemberGood evening Camila and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
First off, I would like to apologize for the delay answering.
We are currently experiencing a higher level of requests than usual. Please rest assured that we are working hard at correcting this situation.
We appreciate your patience while we try to normalize things. As a fellow Montrealer, I am super stoked to hear about this site!
Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.To answer your question, you will need to edit the files that handle the Single Event View (these are highlighted in the Themer’s guide).
To know how to move things around and experiment with different CSS rule, your best tool is to use the web inspector of your browser: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-google-chrome-developer-tools/
It will be much easier to provide additional guidance upon reception of your theme files.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
