Separate calendars based on categories

Sorry there’s so many products and add ons, if one of those is the solution to my query please let me know. I’ve got Events Tickets Plus to allow Woo sales of tickets. We are displaying a calendar of events, but I was wondering if there’s a way to have separate calendars that show only one specific category of events? I cannot find shortcodes that do this except for the Events Calendar Pro using a widget. I don’t want a sidebar or mini calendar, I’d like to show a full page width calendar that only shows a specific calendar. Is this a shortcode I’m looking for or a different product entirely?

Hi Jeremiah,

Good question. You’re not using The Events Calendar to display events, are you? It doesn’t look like it in your system information, but thought I’d check anyway.

The Events Calendar is our free calendar plugin and does allow you to display the calendar by specific category so that only events in a category display on the calendar.

If you’re using another calendar plugin, then I’m afraid I will be a lot less familiar with it and may not have the direct answer for you. I do see a plugin installed on your site called “Events + Version” — is that what you’re using for the calendar?

Geoff, Events+ is just the old calendar solution we were using that we are replacing with this set of plugins and features. http://burnelles.amarimedia.com/events/

This is the calendar and I believe it’s using the Events Calendar plugin as you suggested? Let me know if I’m mistaken here.
