Hello,
I used the following website for a technical SEO audit: https://myrankingmetrics.com/seo/audit
Upon crawling my website this tool started encountering 404 errors on the EventscalendarPro pages.
In the SEO report showing all the urls crawled I start having a problem at this line (page/13):
https://hautlescours.fr/stage-cours/bimbo-commando/tous/?tribe_event_display=past&tribe_paged=13 200
https://hautlescours.fr/planning-stages-cours/page/13/ 404
https://hautlescours.fr/stage-cours/bimbo-commando/tous/?tribe_event_display=past&tribe_paged=14 200
https://hautlescours.fr/planning-stages-cours/page/14/ 404It then goes on until I have spent all my audit credit:
https://hautlescours.fr/stage-cours/bimbo-commando/tous/?tribe_event_display=past&tribe_paged=1420 200
https://hautlescours.fr/planning-stages-cours/page/1420/ 404
https://hautlescours.fr/stage-cours/bimbo-commando/tous/?tribe_event_display=past&tribe_paged=1421 200
https://hautlescours.fr/planning-stages-cours/page/1421/ 404
https://hautlescours.fr/stage-cours/bimbo-commando/tous/?tribe_event_display=past&tribe_paged=1422 200It may have to do with the one recurring event on my website, this “/stage-cours/bimbo-commando/” event.
Is the problem related to EventsCalendar Pro or this SEO audit tool?
Thanks,
Nicolas
October 25, 2017 at 11:53 am #1368836BrendanKeymasterHi Nicolas,
Thanks for reaching out and although 404’s can be alarming, this particular case is fine and what should be happening. This is common with events especially when the event expires. They are referred to as soft 404 errors and basically just telling Google to no longer index the event post.
Here is some more info explaining 404 errors in regards to SEO:

Hope this answers your question and please let us know if we can help in the future.
Thanks,
